When Piero Diana opened Il Bacio Trattoria in January of 2002, he noticed that all restaurants seemed to be the same. He created Il Bacio to be a graceful combination of restaurant ideas into one comfortable space..  Here you can enjoy our traditional Italian favorites and some of our more ambitious dishes along side, great pizza, artisan gelato and small production wines.   Il Bacio is set to bring the outside in, where the main dinning room resembles the outside back patio of a beautiful Roman style house from area of Italy, Frosinone.  You greeted by the warm pizza oven that fills the restaurant with heavenly smells and toasty heat.  You are seated amongst butcher block tables set below wood beams and beside tall trees.  The restaurant is a something for everyone.  Food is brought to you by Vincenzo Roppo, a native of Bari in Puglia, Italia.

He makes some of classics, Homemade Lasagna di Casa, Homemade Gnocchi alla Bolognese, Manicotti, Stuffed Artichokes and some of the best meatballs in the world.  He also has an adventurous side which can be seen through his daily specials.  either way, you can be guaranteed to  love what you eat.  Il Bacio is now famous for our Homemade Gelato, still made daily by our cousin, Stelio Lespi.  He takes no shortcuts, no artificial flavors, all real fruit and imported products from Sicily.  Wine at Il Bacio is watched over by Randall Restiano.  He brings you some of the best, small production, family run, boutique wineries of Italy at a price lower then most restaurants.  You can be sure to always find close to 15 wines by the glass.  We invite you to experience the energy of Il Bacio Trattoria in Bronxville.
